Description		    Only edition of this two part work on Genesis and Exodus and Talmud by R. Benjamin Zev Wolff ben Joel Reichels. The title page informs that R. Reichels was av bet din in Nikolsburg and afterwards in שאפיand several communities in Bohemia and Moravia. Divrei ha-Tanugim is accompanied by Oneg Nefesh by R. Reichels son-in-law, R. Joseph Lerner. The latter are words that are accepted by the heart of those who fear and tremble for the word of the Lord, desiring to hear them. R. Lerner was also the author of Marpeh le-Nefesh. The title page is dated with the verse, “Be of good courage, and let your heart be strong, all you who hope in the Lord” (Psalms 31:25). Divrei ha-Tanugim has approbations from R. Michael ben Zunvel Bachrach and R. Eliezer ben David Flekish; R.Samuel Segal Landau; R. Mordecai Benet; R. Elazar Kalir; R. Levi ben David Pollack; R. Joseph Deutsch; and R. Isaiah Segal Eidlitz. There is an introduction in which the initial words of the first paragraphs begin and end alternately, with Oneg Nefesh and Divrei ha-Tanugim. The preliminary matter concludes with an apologia from the editor, R. Jacob Exra Kohen Rofe ben Isaiah Rofe Katz. The text is in two columns in rabbinic type, the right column Divrei ha-Tanugim, the left column Oneg Nefesh. Within the text are sections of novellae that relate to the parashah, for example, after parashah Bo are novellae on Pesahim (65a-74b).
