Description		    Illustrated Yiddish work on physiology by Dr. Haysin and D. Mardfin. The full title is Di lehre fun leben : (fiziologye) bearbaytet nokh Lunkeyitsh un andere durkh. There is a table of contents listing the chapters, five to the first part, six to the second par. Each chapter deals with another bodily function. There is an depiction of sixteen shapes of teeth, of the internals of the jaw and lower part of the face with Latin terms, the throat beginning with the sinus (sinfront) through the canal and including Concah infer. through the trachea.The next page has Duodenum and Fundus venttriculi. On the facing page is Plicae mucosae, followed by a cut away of the entire digestive system. In addition to the numerous detailed drawings of the internals of the human body in Di lehre fun leben is an accompanying explanatory text in Yiddish in square letters.
