Description		    Awarding Jacob b. Isaac Liebeck the title of haHaver. The haHaver title (formal traditional semikhah) was granted to students who successfully completed extensive oral exams in Shulhan Arukh and related rabbinical subjects. The Haver was thus authorized to render decisions in matters permitted or forbidden by Jewish religious law. The Haver title was utilized, rather than the Rabbi title, in Germany and neighboring countries.
