Description		    A small volume, labeled second edition, that would be called a "bencher" today because, in addition to other blessings and songs, it contains the text for the grace after meals, commonly known as "benching". It has a beautifully illustrated cover showing a bride, groom and officiant at a wedding ceremony. Most of the men are wearing top hats, and the wedding canopy, with young men holding the poles, is in the forefront.

The contents of the volume are listed in the index at the end. They range from morning prayers for boys and girls, to the marriage service, to Kiddush for the Sabbath and Festivals, to the service for Hanukah, to the blessing on the lulab, etc and conclude with Adon Olam, Hatikva (also transliterated), and The Star Spangled Banner. Most blessings are translated, but the Sabbath hymns are transliterated, not translated.
