Description		    Poem in honor of the 25th anniversary of service by R. Solomon Carlebach (1845–1919) as rabbi of Luebeck, he served for nearly 50 years. Interestingly, the Luebeck synagogue, first dedicated on June 10, 1880, was the only synagogue in Schleswig-Holstein that was not destroyed by the Germany's right wing National Socialists party.
