Description
   Reproduction of eight prints by Livni with a foreword by Dozent P. Goetz in Hebrew. The scenes are: (1) Safed; (2) Acre from the sea; (3) Olive tree in Galilee; (4) The shore at Tiberius; (5) Fishing ships in Haifa port; (6) Market in Jerusalem; (7) Gulls over Kinneret; (8) Twilight in Safed.

Zvi Livni, painter, born in Lodz, Poland, immigrated to Erez Israel 1927. Livni commenced his artistic education at the Art Academy in Warsaw. He came to Israel as a young man. Here he lived for many years in a kibbutz and was one of the founders of the artist group of the Kibbutz Artzi. He left Israel on several occasions in order to continue his studies and spent much time in Germany, France and Italy. He was among the founders of the famous Artists' Colony in Safed.
