Detailed
Description
A diatribe by the leadership of Cong. Yetev Lev of London against a weekly Yiddish newspaper called the Yiddishe Tribune of London which purports to represent the Haredi population in London. The leadership states that for a while now this newspaper has started to follow the ways of a newspaper of disrepute that appears in London, bringing false opinions and Zionist outlooks…especially to scorn the remnants …"who walk in the ways of our ancestors "…

In the Yiddish part of the newspaper that appeared Erev Parashat Bo it went too far…scorning the Bet Din [Rabbinical court] in public …"has it ever been heard that a Haredi newspaper has turned over like this and has put up posters against Batei Din in public - in the eyes of men, women and children - against a Bet Din that we are obligated to listen to their opinions? Have you heard of a thing like this that an observant Jew would arise and oppose revival to fasting, and to prayer that the Bet Din established and that thousands of people poured out ..before the Master of All to awake the mercies of heaven…Our stand to this newspaper needs to be like out stand to the newspaper of disrepute..and it is our obligation to announce that in no fashion does the Yiddishe Tribune represent the opinion of the Hardei community in London and in the country, and the community has no connection with the viewpoint of the above-named newspaper…

And with this we call to the Haredi community to stay away from any influence of the opinions of this newspaper, and it our obligation to continue in the ways of our Rabbis…and may Hashem send us Moshiach speedily" …The leadership.
