Description		    This volume also has a title page in French, which reads "Vie et faits des thaumaturges du people juif." (This translates as life and work of the miracle workers of the Jewish people).

R. Dr. Israel Günzig (1868-1931) has written a book about Jewish miracle workers. Some of the personalities that are covered include Benjamin ben Serach, Jehuda ha-Chassid, Elia von Cholm, Jehuda Liwa ben Bezalel [the Maharal], and many others. R. Dr. Günzig is also the author of Zum Gedächtnis des hebräischen Dichters Mordchai Zwi Manne (Krakau, 1898), Rabbi Israel Baal-Schem (Brunn, 1908) and Das jüdische schrifttum über den wert des lebens (Hannover, 1924).
