Detailed Description |
|
Attesting that a women was divorced in accordance with halakha. Divorce decrees are destroyed after the Bet Din approves the divorce so that no issues may subsequently be raised on their validity. Instead, rabbis have issued letters to the divorced parties affirming that the process was properly performed, which were then used by the recipient for remarriage. Members of the Grishaber family were rabbinical leaders in Hungary for many generations. |
