Description		    The son-in-law of the previous Rebbe of Habad, R. Joseph Isaac Schneersohn, writes to R. Eliezer Silver as head of the Agudat Harabonim, to organize a relief effort for Russian Jewry. He relates that his father-in-law, the Hafetz Hayyim, and R. Hayyim Ozer signed a plea for food, flour, and matzohs for Passover to be delivered to Jews in Russia who suffer starvation and persecution.
