Dr. Zobel has translated into German an anonymous Arabic commentary on Moses Maimonides' A Guide to the Perplexed. This was Dr. Zobel's thesis for his doctorate at the University of Bern. He based his research on a manuscript which was translated for the first time, and to which he added commentary. The text is in German, with frequent notes in Hebrew, and much less frequently in Arabic. The last 18 pages are written in Judeo-Arabic.
