A poster for decorating a sukkah, which was given as a gift by HaPoel HaMizrahi political party. The poster is headed with the Hebrew phrase "you shall dwell in sukkahs for seven days. This is followed by "Blessed are you in your coming…blessed are you in your going out" and "You should rejoice in your holidays, you and your household".
There are two columns of photographs on each side of the poster, showing scenes such as a B'nai Akiva gathering in Kfar Avraham, a youth parade, etc. There are also line drawings of Tirat Tsvi and Kfar HaRo'eh and the yeshiva. Additionally, there are two columns of text. One has a prayer which is said upon entering a sukkah. The other is the order of Ushpizin - the traditional sukkot guests.
No date or publication information is provided. HaPoel HaMizrahi was a religious labor party in Israel. It was founded in 1921 to be a synthesis between Torah and labor. The year 1955 saw another historic date – with the merger of Mizrachi and Hapoel Hamizrachi . Since this poster only mentions HaPoel HaMizrahi we can date it to pre-1955.
