Description		    Hameshei Humshei Torah in five volumes. The text is in vocalized square letters. The Bible in Hebrew with the Italian translation on opposite page, Luzzatto's commentary in Hebrew in lower parts of the pp.

Samuel David Luzzatto (Shadal, 1800–1865), the renowned Italian scholar, philosopher, Bible commentator, and translator, here described as an instructor (moreh) in the Bet Midrash ha-Rabbunim (rabbinical college) in Padua, where Shadal spent most of his life. At the end of Genesis are the names of the tamim according to the order of the Ashkenazim, Sephardim, and Italian Jewry. This is a complete set of Hameshei Humshei Torah.

לכל כרך שער נוסף: Il Pentateuco volgarizzato e commentato da Samuel Davide עברית ואיטלקית עמוד מול עמוד. הפירוש מתחתיהן. התרגום האיטלקי יצא קודם לכן בטריאסטי, תרי"ח-תרכ"א. פירושו של שד"ל על התורה בקיצור יצא ב-1848 ,Viena-[1849], בשם "המשתדל".
