The author, Leo Hirsch (1903-1943) is also the author of Lampion: ein kleiner Roman (Mährisch-Ostrau, 1928), Praktische Judentumskunde (Berlin, 1935), Jüdische Glaubenswelt (Basel, 1978) and many other books.
