Detailed
Description
Beautiful page of verse written in celebration and honor of the wedding of Elisha Vuvante ben Jacob tp the daughter of Abraham Marino. The bride is identified at the bottom of the page as Esther. The text, set within a double black lined frame, is written in vocalized Hebrew in five quatrains. A rough example of the eloquent verse is the final stanza:

Esther, behold how good “is the portion measured for you” (Jeremiah 13:25)

Thousands of blessings will be formed and brought thither

To a bosom, perfect in knowledge, place your breast

And Elisha will be to you as Eliyahu
