Description		    Two part work on the weekly Torah portion and novellae on tractates of the Talmud by R. Moses ben Aaron David Daitsch. R. Daitsch was born in 1846 in Pressburg. His father was a well known gaon, author of Gorn David. R. Daitsch, who studied under his father and the Ketav Sofer, was the son-in-law of R. Elijah ha-Kohen Markowitz of Satmar. He became rabbi in שאלגאריאן in 1875, serving there for almost sixty years. He died in 1931. ) Derushei ve-Hiddushei ha-Rmba“d was brought to press by his grandson. There are three introductions, from R. Elijah Yuda Daitsch, the author’s son, R. Jacob Yuda ben Menahem Joseph Daitsch, and from the author’s grandson. The text, in two columns in rabbinic type is first the discourses on the parshiot and after, with new foliation but no title page, novellae on selected tractates of the Talmud.

דף [2 - 4]: הקדמות ר' אלי' יודא דייטש (בן המחבר), ר' יעקב יודא ב"ר מנחם יוסף דייטש (נכד המחבר) ור' אלי' דוד ב"ר שלמה הכהן מארקאוויטש (נכד המחבר). ר' אלי' דוד משלב בהקדמתו צוואת זקנו ר' אליהו הכהן מארקאוויטש (חותנו של המחבר), נוסח מצבתו ונוסח מצבת אביו ר' שלמה. הצוואה כתובה עברית ויידיש. הספירה השנייה: חידושים על ברכות, שבת, פסחים, ביצה, ראש השנה, יומא, סוכה, גיטין, קידושין, כתובות, זבחים וחולין. פ' רושם בטעות סיגט במקום ס.-וואראהל.
