Description		    Discourses on the Torah from R. David ben Jacob Kleinerman. Likutei Yavets is in three parts, all present here. The title page of part one, on Bereshit, states that the homilies are based on midrashei hazel, and that R. Kleinerman of שערעשאוו was also the author of Homat Yerushalim. Likutei Yavets has approbations from R. Isaac Jacob Reines, R. Dovber Dagozki, R. Abraham Aba Reines, R. Pinhas Samuel Gerber, R. Israel Zevi Segal Levinsohn, and R. Meir ben Zevi. They are followed by the introduction of the transcriber, and then the homilies, set in a single column in square letters. After Bereshit are four pages with double columned text listing the individuals by location who supported publication. Part two, on Shemot and Vayikra does not have a title page but is distinguished by another introduction from the transcriber and its own pagination. It concludes with a discourse on Shavu’ot ending with an attractive tail-piece that, appropriately enough includes a sheaf. Part three, on Bamidbar and Devarim has its own title page, a lengthy introduction, and new pagination. The last page has the heading, “aleh divrei Yavets ha-aharon” followed by a shir le-bas Zion.
