Description |

Missionary tract in the form of a catechism with seven engraved plates. Printed by the Protestant world societies which devoted themselves to sending missions to the Jews in the 19th century. Jewish life at that period was at a low ebb; and while actual conversions were few, many communities in eastern Europe, as well as in Palestine and North Africa, profited from the schools and hospitals established by the missions. |
