Detailed
Description		    Elimelech ben Meir Joseph Zagorodsky (1868-1953), known as Meilach, put together an agricultural calendar which contains a date book for the Hebrew year 5685. In addition, it is full of various tidbits of information which would be useful for people involved in agriculture. Many tables are given, as well as mathematical formulas and a glossary of words in Hebrew, with either a French or Latin translation.

Zagorodsky is also the author of Die Banane und ihre Verwertung als Futtermittel (Berlin, 1911), Sefer he-halav: Le livre du lait; manuel pour les producteurs et consommateurs (Jaffa, 1914), Me-artsenu: kovets sefirot hakirot ve-teurim mi-shenat 1922-1923 (Jerusalem, 1923) and others.
