Detailed Description |
|
An appeal from R. Yehiel Meir Morgenstern, formerly of Kotzk, to the Jews of London to send money for the support of the graves of prophets, Tannaim and Amoraim and other holy places in the Holy Land. His appeal is entirely in Yiddish. It is endorsed by a lengthy list of Rabbis, in alphabetical order, giving their city of origin in addition to their names.
R. Morgenstern is referred to on the second page as the founder and administrator of the "group for the supervision and repair of monuments and graves of Tsadikim in Erez Israel."
