A poster questioning the governing committee of apartments for Kollel Shomre HaHomot. The poster gives a background detailing how seven years earlier a committee of seven was formed to take care of repairs, etc at these apartments. Some opposed the head of the committee, but even they were able to see some order and improvement. During the next two years, due to various circumstances, the committee dwindled down to three. And they would decide by themselves according to their personal wills, in spite of opposition from the community(which numbered about 1000 people).
One question is about the apartments in our neighborhood - a lottery is used – is it just that from 150 homes only 25 were included in the lottery?
Other issues include the minimum size of the family – if 8 is a minimum (even if they have multiple wage earners) and a family of 7 could get thrown out of their home?
Other perceived inequities will be discussed at an assembly that will take place soon.(to be announced).
