Description		    First edition of translation. 217, [1] ff., 8 vo., 184:115 mm., light age and damp staining, inner margin of title completed in facsimile. A good copy bound in modern half calf and marble paper boards.

Description		    Prayerbook for the entire year with Ladino translation by R. Israel b. Hayyim of Belgrade (c.1780-<1849) in the lower part of each page. This edition represents the second known translation of the daily prayerbook, the first having been by R. Abraham b. Isaac Assa (Constantinople 1739).

Ladino religious literature had its origins in pre-expulsion Spain, it was only in exile, however, that it really developed. The major original translations include the Book of Psalms (Constantinople, 1540); the Pentateuch (Constantinople, 1547); the Prophets (Salonika, 1572); and a complete translation of the Bible by R. Abraham ben Isaac Assa (Constantinople, 1739–45), which became the most popular text among the Sephardi communities of the East.

סידור עם תרגום לאדינו. עם הקדמת המביא לבית הדפוס והעורך, ישראל ב"ר חיים מבלגראד. דף קצז-רטז: "סדר ברכות". בסוף: "קדיש שלם" ו"לוח הימים אשר בהם מתחילין לומר... ברך עלינו" (תקע"ד-תר"ד). נגמר בדפוס ביום כז ניסן תקע"ג.
