Description		    Summary of decisions given by the Bet Din of Torokszentmiklos under the leadership of R. Meir b. Phinehas Stein (1865-1933), Rabbi and spiritual leader of Torokszentmiklos. R. Stein was born in Torokszentmiklos, where his father was rabbi. He was educated in the Yeshiva of the Shevet Sofer and ordained by him. An erudite scholar he is the author of Even Ha-Meir (2 v., 1907-25) and several other works. In 1896 he was appointed to Trnava where he served until his passing.
