Description		    Only edition of these critical glosses on the responsa of R. Solomon Zevi Schick (Rashban) by R. Moses Judah Leib ben Aaron Kutna. The title page informs that the glosses are on the responsa on Orah Hayyim and that Rashan was the rav in Karzag. R. Kutna was rav in Sabadka. Mishpat Zedek was brought to press by R. Samuel Nathan Kutna, son of the author with the approval of his father and of his father-in-law, R. Moses Hirt. There is a preface from R. Moses Leib Kutna and an introduction, followed by the responsa, set in a single column in square letters. The responsa begin with number two, corresponding to those responsa of R. Schick that R. Kutna is addressing. In his introduction R. Kutna writes that it is far from his intent to write critically about a great Torah personality but merely to strive for truth.

Little is known about R. Moses Judah Leib ben Aaron Kutna, except that his father was av bet din in Tatus. Even his date of death is unknown. R. Schick (d. 1916) was descended from an ilustrous line of rabbis and served as rabbi in Karzag for forty-six years. The author of several books, his responsa on Orah Hayyim were printed in Muncasz in 1900.
