Description		    Edit du Roi...[“Edict of the King, Given at Versailles...Concerning the Nobility in Provence, Registered in Parliament.

Revokes a law of 1631 which discriminated against families who were suspected of being descendants or allies of “Jews, Saracens, Mohammedans, and other enemies of the Christian name.” Henceforth, these families are to be accepted in the nobility on the same grounds as all others.
