R. Jacob Sharaga b. Moses Jungreis served in Fabianhaza, Hungry before assuming the rabbinical position in Bercel in 1908. In Bercel he organized a Talmud Torah and Yeshiva of several dozen pupils. He perished in the Holocaust.
