Hebrew-Arabic manual for teaching Arabic. The only Latin letters are on the front cover and title page, which says Manuel Simple et Pratique de Lecture et Ecriture Arabes (simple and practical handbook for reading and writing Arabic. A Hebrew title says it is ha-limud Arabe and at the bottom in Hebrew letters is a similar description in Judeo-Arabic. There is an introduction, also in Judeo-Arabic. The manual begins with simple letter formation and vowels and continues with words and phrases, concluding with text readings. In all instances the Arabic text is accompanied by Judeo-Arabic in Hebrew letters.
