Detailed and colorful pocket calendar issued by the Oesterr.-Ungvar.Bohm. Mahr. Israelite Gemeinde of Jerusalem. The title page has red lettering, and a blue frame with yellow filler. It begins Le-Shanah Tovah and wishes everyone to be written ahd seaeled in the book of life. The verso of the title page has a full page color picture of kever Rachel. There is some preliminary material, the blessings for the new moon, and the calendar, which gives both the Hebrew and secular dates and pertinent information for each day. After the calendar are several listings, such as events in Erez Israel by date beginning with Abraham;s departure for Erez Israel, Kiddush Levanah, she’elu shalom Yerushalim, Takkanot ha-Geonim Mosdei Erez, Takkanot Keren Kayyemet, a lengthy list of Jahrzeits by month and date, and much more.
