Description		    Letter addressed to R. Samuel Salant in Jerusalem concerning transmition of charity funds by R. Sandor b. Eliezer Hayyim Lifsitz (b. 1845), a childhood prodigy. He was educated in the Yeshiva of Volozhin and at R. Meisel in Lomza. He was ordained by R. Meir Levin (Nahlat ha-Levi) and R. Meizel. He emigrated to the United States and was appointed rabbi in Cincinatti in 1894. R. Lifsith was a founding member of the Agudat haRabonim, his novella remains in ms. , .
