A volume on the customs and practices of the Jews by Friedrich Gustav Lisco (1791-1866), who was also the author of Die Parabeln Jesu : exegetisch-homiletisch (Berlin, 1834), Die Heilslehre der Theologia deutsch : nebst einem auf sie bezüglichen Abriss der christlichen Mystik bis auf Luther (Stuttgart, 1857), et al. He was a preacher in Berlin and also published many of his lectures.
