Description |
|
R. Ezra b. Elijah Maslaton-Tarab (b. 1851) was Chief Judge in Damascus in the late 19th through the early 20th centuries. An erudite scholar and orator he authored several works of which these are in print: Shaarei Ezra (Jerusalem 1906) responsa on all four parts of the Shulhan Arukh; Sefer Ezra (Jerusalem 1913) homilies and responsa; Vayomer Ezra (Jerusalem 1914) homilies and responsa; Mile D'Ezra (Jerusalem 1924) responsa on all four parts of the Shulhan Arukh. Several more remain in manuscript. |
