Detailed
Description
Bi-lingual Hebrew-Polish enactments for organization to support the Hebrew school-gymnasium by Y. Schwartzman. The title page informs that the school has eight grades and that it was founded by Schwartzman, who is a candidate for limudei ha-teva, a secular educational position. Reading from right to left the text is in Hebrew; from left to right, the larger part of the takkanot, the text is in Polish. The Hebrew sections in seven parts with forty-four entries, several comprised of additional regulations. It begins with the purpose of the organization, which includes concern for the students who require assistance, seeing that the teachers are paid, providing without payment for the needs of students who require assistance, including clothing, food, and medical expenses. In this last category concern is not determined by the students material condition but also by their attentiveness to their studies, as attested by the principal. Concern not only for present but also future needs. The work of the organization encompasses all of Warsaw. The second part of the takkanot deals with the members of the organization, noting that no distinction is made as to membership, levels of activity of members. Part six deals with the closing of the organization.
