Detailed
Description
One side is written in Yiddish, and the verso in English. An anti-Zionist polemic which advocates creating a free Palestine state which unites Arabs and Jews "after the example of the Soviet Union, free of British and Zionist rule. This was put out by the African Gezerd (Gezelshaft far Erdarbet), which was founded in 1932 and was the major instrument of the anti-Zionist cause. "By the time of its first National Convention in January, 1933, it boasted 1200 active members and many sympathizers all over the country. The importance of the Gezerd lies in the fact that it represented an alternative to Zionism as the dominant philosophy of the Jews of South Africa."
