Description		    Explanatory biblical text to make the holy writings clear with accompanying illustrtations. The author of biblical geography and biblical natural history. At the bottom of the pages are prices for the book. There are two brief forwards and a table of contents. The handbook is divided into four basic parts, Das gelobte Land (the praiseworthy land); Das Gefetz Mose’s oder die zehen Gebote (the Decalogue); Das Königreich (the kingdom); and lastly on the Christian Bible. Each part is comprised of numerous chapters, for a total of 117 chapters. The text, in a single column in Fraktur, is accompanied by numerous copperplate illustrations, including biblical scenes, musical illustraions, alphabets, writing implements, ships, coins, the Jews in the dessert, women using a mortar, domestic scenes, homes and much more.
