Three independent works in German published together. The first title is Rabbi Elia, der Gaon von Wilna und seine Zeit by Dr. Isak Unna. A popular book on the Vilna Gaon, it was subsequently translated into Hebrew. The next book is Aus fernen Tagen (From distant days) by J. Oppenheim. It is in two parts, entitled Der Narr and Konigen Esther. Aus fernen Tagen is part of the Jüdische Volksbüchereim Band 12. The third part of this volumen is Daheim und Draussen (At home and outside) by Max Speier. Daheim und Draussen is comprised of six pieces, Zwei Barmizwohs; Der Sumpf; Er steht; Das Brauchen; Schaumer Mizwoh; and Spatzenlied (sparrow song).
