Joseph Heller writes to R. Samuel Salant in Jerusalem asking him to secure a righteous and "pretty" young wife for his very eligible son, Dr. Jacob Levi Heller (the letter is written on his stationary). He currently serves the Jewish community of Philadelphia with distinction, treating many patients without charge.
