Description		    A handwritten notebook contains the notes to Dr. Samuel Funk's doctoral dissertation on Akiba, which was submitted to the University at Jena in 1896. The title was: Akiba, ein palästinensischer Gelehrter aus dem zweiten nachchristlichen Jahrhundert. [Akiba, a Palestinian scholar from the second century after Christ]. The notes are in Hebrew, German, Greek and Latin, and the writing is clear and uniformly neat.
