Description		    Heinrich Bernard Oppenheim (1819-1880), a Frankfurt lawyer and liberal, wrote of the history of and conditions for Jews in Romania. He is also the author of numerous other books including: Aus der Geschichte der englischen Kornzölle (Berlin 1879), Philosophie des rechts und der gesellschaft und das öffentliche recht Deutschlands (Stuttgart, 1850), Der Katheder-Sozialismus (Berlin, 1873) and many others.
