Description		    Title: La science universelle: recueil littéraire, poétique et philosophique de la littérature juive et mondiale; en sept langues: français, anglais, allemand, hébreu, latin, yddish et polonais.

This volume is labeled Tome Premier (vol. 1), and is autographed by the author. It does not appear that any other volumes were ever published.

It contains a collection of Jewish literature and world literature in seven languages, by various authors. The table of contents is divided by languages: French, English, German, Hebrew, Latin, Yiddish and Polish. The collection is quite eclectic and authors as varied as Lord Byron and Sholem Aleichem are represented.
