Title: Die Einsteinsche Relativitatstheorie und ihr historische Fundament : Sechs Vorträge für Laien
Six lectures on Einstein's theory of relativity for laymen. Fritz Beer (b.1877)is also the author of Frohliches kopzerbrechen (Wien and Leipzig, 1934) - a volume of mathematical recreations. He was a mathematician who received his PhD. from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in 1899. His dissertation was on "Kriterien für Irrationalität von Funktionalwerten (Criteria for irrationality of functional values).
