Description		    Schedule of the assembly of the Rabbis of Erez Israel which took place in the Hurva synagogue of Rabbi Judah he-Hasid on 20 Adar [5]705 (Monday, March 5, 1945). The verso of the title page and the following page list the order of prayers for the day. They begin with opening of the Aron, reciting Psalms, verse by verse, consisting of Psalms 10, 20, 44, 74, 79, 83, 130, 142, and 126 all printed in their entirety in the volume, followed by prayers from the Yom Kippur mahzor, chapter five of Lamentations, said while sitting on the ground, prayers from the selihot for erev Rosh HaShanah, El Melekh ha-Rahaman, krait le-Teshuvah, viddui, blowing the shofar, all these given in their entirety, and then the conclusion of the assembly which is listed as a proclamation of the assembly, Avenu Malkenu, kaddish, and minhah. This solemn assembly was obviously held in response to events in Europe and should be considered as Holocaust literature, although neither the Holocaust nor any other temporal event is mentioned.
