Description
   Contains an account of Moses Levi (b. 1755, near Cologne), a German rabbi who converted to Catholocism. Levi initially entered into the rabbinate, following in the footsteps of his father, Jonathan Levi, chief rabbi in Cologne, Trier and Pflaz. Following his conversion in 1783 his father disowned him and there was an even a plot by his the members of his community to murder him.This proved to him that his decision to convert was the correct one.
