Description		    Commentary to Genesis and Exodus by the Chief Rabbi of Safed. R. Solomon b. Eleazar Hazzan (1855-1886) was born in Marrakesh. He emigrated to Safed as a three year old in 1858. R. Hazzan also wrote Shulhan ha-Tahor (Jerusalem 1886), collection of homilies delivered in Safed.
