Description		    Introductory Hebrew book with German overview of Hebrew grammar by E. Bondi, Director of the Wolfschul. The title page, at both front and end of book, states that it si practischer Lehrgang (practical training lessons), Erlernung der ersten Elemente der hebraeischen Sprache als Vorbereitung zum Bibelunterrichte fuer die isr. Volks-und Religionsschulen (Acquisition of the first elements of the Hebrew language in preparation for Bible lessons in the public religious schools). Limude Schaaschuim is in two parts. Reading from left to write is a German forward and the rules of punctuation and grammar in German with occasional Hebrew. The greater part of the book, from right to left, are the exercises, beginning with simple Hebrew words with accompanying German meanings and tense and simple reading exercises. The text becomes progressively more sophisticated with the Hebrew portion between vocabulary words becoming lengthier and more sophisticated, but never too difficult for the new student. Towards the end of the book are conjugations. The readings are from a Jewish religious perspective.
