Description		    Responsa, halakhic novellae, and aggadah by R. Elijah Moses ben Kaleb Zeev Luntz (1868-1927). R. Luntz, who was born in Siauliai, Lithuania, officiated as rabbi in Paterson, New Jersey, going up to Erez Israel in c. 1903. Among his other works is Pirhe Eliyah, also on the Talmud. On the verso of the title is an unusual warning against hasugot gevul (plagiarism), here R. Luntz, noting the prohibitions against trespass, expresses his confidence that no one in Israel would commit such an offense. His introduction follows, a detailed list of the contents, which are discourses given at the completion of Orders of Mishnayot (sium), completing the Talmud, and for Ein Ya’akov. The text is in two columns in square letters. Eben Moshe concludes with a lengthier table of contents noting each hadran by tractate.
