Description		    First edition. 30 pp., plus additional-title wrappers (bound in), 118:75 mm., usual light age staining. A very good copy bound in later half cloth boards.
          
Detailed
Description		    Scarce copy of the Pizmonin le-Simhat Torah printed for the Jews of Bombay in 1885. The title page states that it is, Pizmonim le-Simhat Torah according to the customs of Baghdad. Printed at the expense of Moses Judah Kohen, shamash of Keneset Eliyah at the press of . . . in Bombay in the month of Elul 645 (1885). Below this text, is added, printed by Aaron Jacob Samuel. The piyyutim are liturgical prayers with refrain. The text of the title page also appears on the wrapper. The volume is set in square vocalized letters.
          
Paragraph 2    כמנהג... בגדאד... נדפסה בהוצאות משה יהודה כהן הי"ו שמאש[!] כנסת אליהו... בחדש אלול... נדפסה על ידי אהרן יעקב שמואל...
