Glasner, state inspector of kashrut, discovered the transgression and worked to avert an even larger scandal involving the supplier of the meat, the West Coast Poultry Co. R. Judah, a son of R. Moses Samuel Glasner, was a prominent rabbi in major communities in America and Europe.
