Description
   Wondrous tales and occurrences of tzadikkim, geonim, and kedoshim, who are the rabbis, holy of holiest. Also holy discourses from many of the righteous and holy who were great lights. The book was printed at the press of Abraham Feder who also bore the expense of publication. Many of the inspiring stories in this collection deal with the Ba’al Shem Tov and his students, founders of the modern Hasidic movement. Other subjects are R. Isaac Hayyat, author of ZeraYizhak, R. Judah ben Basra, R. Hayyim Joseph David Azulai (Hida), R. Shabbetai of Rashkov, R. Elimelekh of Lizhinsk, R. Naphtali of Ruptshitz, and numerous others. Ma’asiot Peli’ot is set in a single column in rabbinic type. Many of the pages are still uncut from the time of publication.
