Description
Classic Jewish stories with a moral tale. The title page describes Neflaot Gedolot as precious abiding and holy tales designed to arouse pious feelings in Jewish hearts, thus bringing them closer to the service of the Holy One, blessed be He. Below is text in Cyrillic. Neflaot Gedolot is comprised of three stories. The first story is a about a wondrous occurrence to two young faithful boys; the second is about an awesome event that befell R. Hayyim ben Bezalel, brother of the Maharal of Prague. The text is in a single column in square letters. The final story deals with the dearth of the Rema (R. Moses Isserles). Several of the pages are still uncut. This copy of Neflaot Gedolot has its original wrappers witrh the front cover in pink.
