Detailed
Description
   R. Nahum b. Jacob Weidenfeld (1874-1939), Admor of Dombrova. He was born in Harimlov (Grzymalow), Galicia and received his early education from his father. At age 20 he was ordained by R. Isaac Shmelkish. An erudite scholar, R. Nahum became a widely respected authority, his advise and blessings were sought by many. In 1898 R. Nahum succeeded his grandfather as Rabbi of Dombrova. He established a yeshiva in Dombrova that trained many Torah scholars. R. Nahum wrote a book of responsa Hazon Nahum (Bilgoraj 1939), and several other works. R. Nahum suffered a fatal heart attack in Sieniawa, while fleeing the Nazis in 1939.
